Lot # 1921: 1979 Topps Unopened Wax Pack Collection (18)

Collection of eighteen original unopened wax packs from the 1979 Topps baseball set. The 1979 Topps set features the rookie card of Hall of Famer Ozzie Smith, as well as numerous other stars and Hall of Famers, including Nolan Ryan, Pete Rose, and Eddie Murray. Steve Hart of the Baseball Card Exchange (the leading authority on unopened material) has personally reviewed these packs, and in his opinion, they are original and unopened. The packs are tightly wrapped with several displaying either small rips and/or varying degrees of staining on the reverse. This is a desirable grouping of wax packs that would make outstanding additions to any collection of unopened material or companion pieces to any 1979 Topps set or collection. Total: 18 packs.
