Description

Presented is a substantial lower-grade "shoebox" collection of 581 cards from eleven different Topps, Fleer, and Nu-Card baseball issues dating from 1952 to 1963. This impressive collection is highlighted by thirty-eight Hall of Famers, including Ted Williams, Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, and Sandy Koufax, as well as the rookie cards of Al Kaline and Don Drysdale! This collection consists of the following:

1) 1952 Topps (14 cards): Pr to Fr (mostly Pr to Pr-Fr), with two Gd. Includes: #6 (Gd, black back), 17, 28, 36 Hodges (Fr), 39, 40, 56, 65 Slaughter (Pr), 68, 70, 83, 116, 126, and 243 Doby (Pr).

2) 1953 Topps (49 cards): Pr to Fr (mostly Pr to Pr-Fr) Keys: #14 Labine, 27 Campanella (Pr), 61 Wynn SP (Pr-Fr), 62 Irvin (Pr-Fr), 81 Black SP (Pr), 125 D. Williams (Pr), 222 Janowicz (Fr), 251, and 278.

3) 1954 Topps (19 cards): Pr to Fr, with one Vg. Includes: #17 Rizzuto (Pr), 20 Spahn (Pr), 23, 38, 60, 64, 75, 108, 130 Bauer, 135, 172, 188, 189, 192, 196, 201 Kaline RC (Pr, with miscut edges due to heavy wear), 241, 245, and 250 Williams (Fr).

5) 1956 Topps (109 cards): Ranging from Pr to Gd, with a few higher.
