Presented is a very attractive mid- to high-grade near-complete set of 1975 Topps baseball consisting of 636 different cards (out of 660 in the set). Missing only the twenty-four cards from the MVPs subset (#189-212) for completion. Included are six duplicates (#72, 89, 293, 295, 446, and 449). The rookie cards of Hall of Famers George Brett, Robin Yount, Gary Carter, and Jim Rice highlight the 1975 Topps issue, one of the most popular and unusual sets of the 1970s. The colored flush-to-the-border design of the 1975 Topps set makes this issue particularly challenging to collect in extremely high grade. Condition is 22% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt, 53% Ex to Ex-Mt, 22% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 3% lesser (mostly Yankees cards with small spots of paper loss on the reverses). Keys: #1 Aaron HL (Fr), 61 Winfield (Ex-Mt), 70 Schmidt (Ex+), 223 Yount RC (Ex+), 228 Brett RC (Ex), 260 Bench (Ex), 320 Rose (Nr/Mt), 370 Seaver (Nr/Mt+), 500 Ryan (Vg), 616 Rice RC (Nr/Mt-Mt), 620 Carter RC (Ex-Mt), 622 Lynn RC (Nr/Mt-Mt), 623 Hernandez RC (Nr/Mt-Mt), and 660 Aaron (Vg+). This is an impressive near-complete set loaded with Hall of Famers and stars from the 1970s. Total: 642 cards (near set of 636 plus six duplicates).
