Beautiful complete set of one of the great classics of the 1960s! The 1969 Topps set is highlighted by the rookie cards of Oakland A's Hall of Famers Reggie Jackson and Rollie Fingers, plus the last card of Mickey Mantle. This final card of "The Mick," who retired March 1, 1969, contains his complete statistical record on the reverse. Includes three signed cards (#234 Bristol, 570 Santo, and 626 Michael). Condition is 62% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt (including a few Mint), 28% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 10% Vg to Vg-Ex (including a couple with a slight miscut and seven slightly lesser). We have selected four cards for grading and encapsulation by PSA. Keys: #20 Banks (Nr/Mt), 50 Clemente (NM 7), 95 Bench (Ex-Mt+), 100 Aaron (NM 7), 120 Rose (Nr/Mt due to centering), 130 Yastrzemski (slightly miscut left edge, otherwise Nr/Mt), 151a Dalrymple/Phillies (Vg-Ex), 190 Mays (Ex-Mt), 200 Gibson (Ex+), 250 F. Robinson (Ex+), 255 Carlton (Nr/Mt), 260 Jackson RC (NM-MT 8), 375 Killebrew (Nr/Mt+ due to centering), 410 Kaline (Nr/Mt-Mt), 480 Seaver (Nr/Mt), 500 Mantle (EX-MT 6), 510 Carew (Nr/Mt), 533 Ryan (Nr/Mt), 550 B. Robinson (Nr/Mt-Mt), 570 Santo (signed with blue ballpoint pen, otherwise Ex+), 573 Palmer (Ex-Mt), and 597 Fingers RC (Nr/Mt+ due to centering). This is an extremely attractive and mostly high-grade set of one of the great 1960s Topps issues, loaded with Hall of Famers. Total: 664 cards. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA (for three signed cards).
