Complete, original unopened wax box of "KISS" Series 1 issued by Donruss in 1978. KISS, the famous rock band headlined by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, gained immense notoriety during the mid-1970s because of its unique costumes and outrageous stage presence. To capitalize on the craze surrounding the band, Donruss produced a card set devoted exclusively to the band and featured scenes from its live concerts. The store display box is bright and bold with light shelf wear visible. The box comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material).
