Complete, original unopened wax box from the 1974 Topps "Puzzle" baseball series containing twelve packs. The 1974 Topps puzzle set was test-marketed on a very limited basis only in New England and was sold side by side with the more well known 1974 Topps Deckle Edge test set. Each "puzzle card" is designed as a 40-piece puzzle (4.75 x 7.5 inches), which when assembled forms a large picture of a particular player. This is the first complete box of this rare Topps test issue we have offered in the past twenty-one years! An extremely scarce unopened box and an outstanding companion piece to any complete set of this unusual 1970s Topps test issue! The box comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material).
