Description

Complete, original unopened wax box of 1976-1977 Topps hockey. The box houses thirty-six packs, each of which contains nine cards and one glossy photo insert card for a total of 360 cards. This box originates directly from the estate of the legendary Larry Fritsch. It comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material) and bears his certified designation as having originated from the "Fritsch Vault." This set features the rookie card of Hall of Famer Brian Trottier, who led the New York Islanders to four consecutive Stanley Cup championships in the early 1980s. The display box has survived in outstanding condition with bright colors and minor wear, including two small puncture holes visible on the bottom panel.
