Lot # 991: 1952 Topps #146 Frank House PSA VG-EX 4 - Rare "Yellow Tigers Logo" Variation

Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA (submitted by REA). Extremely rare example of the 1952 Topps "Yellow Tigers Logo" printing variation of Frank House, Detroit. The “Tigers” logo color on this card is noticeably different than other Houses. It has a distinct "mostly" yellow coloring compared to the standard orange-colored logo. (Please note that while we firmly believe this to be a "yellow tiger" variation, PSA has declined to label it as such.) The offered card has bold colors, outstanding registration, and even corner wear. Boldly printed reverse. This is an extremely attractive example of this virtually impossible-to-find 1952 Topps variation, worthy of any master set.
