Presented is an ultra-high-grade complete set of Fleer's "comeback" issue, entirely graded and encapsulated by PSA. This set marks the first basketball set produced by Fleer since 1961. Fleer stopped producing basketball cards after 1961 while its powerhouse competitor Topps continued to rule the basketball-card market through the late 1960s until the mid-1980s. This 132-card set is loaded with superstars and rookie cards of future Hall of Famers, highlighted by the rookie card of Michael Jordan. PSA Grading Composite: MINT 9 (11 cards): #14, 17, 19, 25, 30, 35, 41, 42, 90, 106, and 116. NM-MT+ 8.5 (4 cards): #6, 23, 24, and 51. NM-MT 8 (115 cards): including #1 Abdul-Jabbar, 4 Ainge RC, 7 Barkley RC, 9 Bird, 26 Drexler RC, 27 Dumars RC, 31 Erving, 32 Ewing RC, 53 M. Johnson, 68 K. Malone RC, 77 Mullin RC, 82 Olajuwon RC, 89 Rambis RC, 109 Thomas RC, 121 D. Wilkins RC, 131 Worthy RC, and 132 Checklist. NM+ 7.5 (1 card): #57 Jordan RC. NM 7 (1 card): #110. This is an outstanding ultra-high-grade set. The set exhibits bright colors, strong corners, and an overall pack-fresh quality. The SMR value for the 132 graded cards (factoring in the five half grades at the lower whole-grade level) is $9,745. Total: 132 cards. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
