Lot # 2044: 1976 Topps Football Unopened Wax Box (36 Packs) GAI NM-MT+ 8.5

Presented is an extremely rare, complete, original unopened wax box of 1976 Topps football. This is only the fourth example we have offered in the past 20 years! The box houses 36 packs with each pack containing 10 cards for a total of 360 cards. The 1976 Topps set features rookie cards of Hall of Famers Walter Payton, Randy White, Jack Lambert, and Robert Brazile, as well as numerous other stars and Hall of Famers, including Ed "Too Tall" Jones, Terry Bradshaw, and Roger Staubach. While no guarantees can be made with respect to the grading of unopened material, there is a very real possibility that within this box are Mint or Gem Mint cards. GAI has encapsulated the box and graded it NM-MT+ 8.5. The display box has beautiful colors and exhibits light-to-moderate shelf wear. This is an incredible unopened wax box from this very popular 1970s football issue!
