Company check, dated January 5, 1956, signed in black ink by Jackie Robinson. PSA/DNA has encapsulated the check and graded the signature MINT 9. Signed by "Jackie Robinson" along the upper left quadrant. Endorsed by "Mallie Robinson" in black ink on the reverse. Robinson enjoyed a special relationship with his mother, who is credited with teaching him the importance of self-respect and fair treatment for all, even in the face of racial prejudice. The check (6.75 x 2.75 inches), which has normal bank cancellation stamps (none affecting the signature), displays three vertical folds and light creases. In Very Good condition overall.
