Lot # 1315: 1959 Kahn's Wieners Herb Score PSA NM 7

Graded NM 7 by PSA. This is the only example graded at this level by PSA with none higher. Rarely offered high-grade example of Herb Score (Cleveland Indians) from the 1959 Kahn's Wieners series. Kahn's from the earlier years (pre-1960) are particularly rare and tend to survive in low grade simply because they were available only in packages of Kahn's Meats (as opposed to also being available by mail in sets direct from the company, as was the case in the later years). Cards from this very scarce 1950s regional issue are usually found with serious condition problems relating to their method of issue, including creases and hot-dog stains, which makes this example a very noteworthy offering. Crisp and clean, with a flawless image and four strong corners. Clean reverse. This outstanding high-grade example would be a worthy addition to any world-class 1959 Kahn's Wieners set.
