Graded VG/EX 4 by SGC. Hall of Famer Dan Brouthers with Baltimore from the popular N300 Mayo’s Cut Plug series issued in 1895. Brouthers was one of the nineteenth century's most legendary stars as a five-time batting champion who also led the NL in slugging percentage each of his first six full seasons. The offered N300 Mayo's Cut Plug card of Brouthers presents exceptionally well, with a crisp image, light wear to the corners, and centering towards the bottom right. There is a diagonal line (printing flaw) extending through Brouthers' face. Clean reverse. Extremely desirable example of one of Dan Brouthers' most impressive cards, issued at the peak of Baltimore's dynasty years in the mid-1890s.
