Lot # 769: 1933 R333 DeLong Gum #7 Lou Gehrig PSA EX-MT 6

Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. Very attractive example of this classic Lou Gehrig card. This is one of Gehrig's rarest 1930s cards and the key card to the DeLong Gum set. Gehrig is not just the highlight of the DeLong Gum set, it is one of the highlights of all Gehrig and 1930s gum cards. DeLongs have always been highly appreciated. The small number of cards in the set, their relative scarcity compared to most others card sets of the era, their unique dimensions, design, and the fact that they were only a one-year issue all combine to give DeLongs a special mystique. This card has brilliant colors, a crisp image, and light corner wear. Clean reverse. This is a strong example of one of Gehrig's classic cards in an extremely desirable grade.
