Graded NM 7 by PSA. Outstanding high-grade example of Boston Red Sox Hall of Famer Ted Williams' 1954 Bowman card, which is recognized as one of the most significant of all postwar baseball-card rarities. The Williams card had to be replaced with a different one (#66 Jimmy Piersall) very early in the print run because of Williams' contractual commitments to Topps. This example has brilliant colors, a crisp image, and strong corners. The card exhibits a slight diamond cut along the top and bottom edges. An exceptionally attractive high-grade example of one of Ted Williams' most classic cards.
