Lot # 5: 1914 E145 Cracker Jack #68 Honus Wagner SGC EX 5

Graded EX 5 by SGC. The 1914 Cracker Jack is understandably one of Pittsburgh Pirates Hall of Famer Honus Wagner's most striking and popular cards. The "Flying Dutchman" is one of the big four key cards in the set, along with Cobb, Jackson and Mathewson. This card is well-centered (slightly left) with tremendous color, outstanding registration, light corner wear (weaker bottom right) and a particularly bold red background. Bright and clean, both front and back, with no traces of caramel staining, which is virtually unheard of for 1914 #144 series Cracker Jack cards. This is a beautiful mid-grade card with fantastic eye appeal that would make a superb addition to any collection of Cracker Jack, Honus Wagner, or vintage Hall of Fame cards.
