Beautiful complete set of one of the great classics of the 1960s! The 1969 Topps set is highlighted by the rookie cards of Oakland A's Hall of Famers Reggie Jackson and Rollie Fingers, plus the last card of Mickey Mantle. This final card of "The Mick," who retired March 1, 1969, contains his complete statistical record on the reverse. Includes both variations of the following six cards: #47, 49, 77, 151, 208, and 582. Condition is 33% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt, 55% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 12% Vg to Vg-Ex. Two cards have been graded and encapsulated by PSA and SGC. Keys: #20 Banks (Ex-Mt+), 50 Clemente (SGC NM 7), 95 Bench (Ex+), 100 Aaron (Ex), 120 Rose (Ex+), 130 Yastrzemski (Nr/Mt), 190 Mays (Vg-Ex due to light staining), 200 Gibson (Ex), 250 F. Robinson (Ex), 255 Carlton (Ex-Mt+), 260 Jackson RC (Ex+), 375 Killebrew (Ex-Mt+), 410 Kaline (Ex), 480 Seaver (Nr/Mt), 500 Mantle (NM 7), 510 Carew (Vg-Ex+), 533 Ryan (smoothed out corners from one time storage in screwdown, otherwise Nr/Mt), 550 B. Robinson (Ex-Mt), 573 Palmer (measures a bit small, otherwise Nr/Mt), and 597 Fingers RC (Vg-Ex+). This is a very attractive mid- to high-grade set of one of the great 1960s Topps issues, loaded with Hall of Famers. Total: 670 cards (complete set of 664 plus six variations).
