Presented is a complete 598-card set of 1962 Topps baseball cards plus ten variations. The 1962 Topps set has a well-deserved reputation for being the era's most condition-sensitive issue. The flush-to-the-border brown wood-grain design makes this issue particularly susceptible to edge and corner wear. Included are eight significant variations (#129, 132, 139 [three], 147, 174, 192, and 458) and two green-tint variations (#151 and 171). Many of the cards in this set display some degree of warping due to moisture exposure and have been downgraded accordingly in the following condition composites. Condition is 12% Ex-Mt to Nr/Mt (mostly Ex-Mt), 67% Vg-Ex to Ex, and 21% Gd to Vg (including a few lesser and eleven with color added).. Five cards have been professionally graded and encapsulated by PSA (3) and GAI (2).
