Lot # 2094: Extremely Rare 1999 Pokemon Fossil First Edition Factory-Sealed Unopened Booster Box Case (6 Boxes, 216 Packs)

Extremely rare factory-sealed booster box case from the 1999 Pokémon Fossil First Edition series. The case contains six unopened boxes, with 36 packs per box for a total of 216 packs. The 62-card Fossil set is particularly significant in the Pokémon community as it represents the third and final series released by Wizards of the Coast in 1999, following the Base and Jungle sets that combine to feature the original 151 Pokémon. The English version is notably bigger than the Japanese Fossil set, which only includes 48 cards. This is because Wizards of the Coast decided to include non-holographic prints of the rare holographic cards. Desirable holographic cards in the Fossil series include Aerodactyl, Lapras, Snorlax, Vaporeon and Jolteon. The original outer case displays light wear.
