Outstanding collection of 1910-era tobacco advertisements and flattened boxes; all featuring brands represented in the T206 baseball set.This collection consists of the following: 1-2) Two Cycle Cigarettes Flattened Boxes (blue and yellow): Each has one side panel missing, the other has been taped into position. Possible slight trim. Pr condition. 3-4) Two different circa 1910 newspaper advertisements for Old Mill Cigarettes, each featuring an illustrated package of cigarettes with a few T206 tobacco cards "peeking" out of the pack. The inclusion of the cards in each package is central to the advertising text, which reads "Texas League baseball pictures and a valuable coupon in each package." Each newspaper advertisement (approximately 12 x 9.75 inches) has been clipped from the paper and trimmed to its current dimensions. Fr-Gd condition. 5-7) Three early 1900s Polar Bear Tobacco point of purchase advertising cards (two different). Each is printed on thin paper stock, measuring approximately 4-3/4 x 2-3/4 inches, and remain in Poor condition. (Please note one has a heavy tear and may not remain intact during shipping.) Also included is a business card (4-3/8 x 2-3/8 inches) with printed text that reads "Frank Hilz - Boarding House and Saloon - 124 North Water Street, Hamilton, Ohio" on the front. An attractive grouping of vintage tobacco advertisements and flattened boxes that would be perfect for display with T206 tobacco cards. Total: 7 items.
