Graded NM 7 by PSA. Regarded as one of the toughest cards to pull from packs in 1994, this Upper Deck insert, which has been signed by two greats of the game in Mickey Mantle and Ken Griffey Jr., has often eluded collectors. Three variations of this card were manufactured and inserted into packs: one signed only by Mantle, one signed only by Griffey Jr., and one signed by both. All three have become iconic in the hobby, with the offered dual-signed version commanding the most respect among collectors. In addition to being noted as one of the earlier pack-pulled autographed cards to hit the market, the unique artwork is also admired by collectors. The concept was innovative and was produced not only during Griffey Jr.'s rise to fame but also just one year prior to Mantle's death. Both players have neatly written their names in black ink across the front. This example has been encapsulated by PSA/DNA with the signatures grading NM-MT 8. Upper Deck has placed an autograph certification sticker on the reverse of the card that reads "AUA40993." This card would make a worthy addition to any Mickey Mantle, Ken Griffey Jr., or modern card collection.
