Presented is a near-complete and partial set pair of 1880s N228-1 and N228-2 Kinney "Novelties" cards. Both Type 1 and Type 2 cards are die-cut circles that measure 1 5/8" in diameter. Type 1 cards have no border, where as type 2 cards do have a border. This collection consists of the following: 1) Type 1 Partial Set (15/25): Condition is 47% Vg-Ex to Ex (including 20% Ex-Mt), 33% Gd to Vg, and 20% Pr to Fr. Missing the following ten cards for completion: #2, 5, 7, 8, 9, 14, 16, 20, 23, and 25. 2) Type 2 Near-Complete Set (49/50): Condition is 22% Ex-Mt, 37% Vg-Ex to Ex, and 41% Gd to Vg (including 20% lesser).
