Complete, original unopened wax box of 1985-1986 Topps hockey. The box houses 36 packs, each of which contains 12 cards for a total of 432 cards. The 1985-1986 Topps hockey set includes the rookie card of Hall of Famer Mario Lemieux, and many other Hall of Famers including Gretzky, Yzerman, and Bourque. This box comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). It has a black stripe painted on the top flap, signifying this was probably an "X-out" box, which was a box returned by retailers for a credit. The display box has moderate-to-heavy shelf wear.
