Description

Classic example of one of the most famous cards of the 1910 era: Pittsburgh Pirates Hall of Famer Honus Wagner from the very popular M116 Sporting Life series. This card is popular on many counts, including the fact that the portrait is so similar in appearance to the famous T206 Wagner and dates from the same era. Bright and crisp with even corner wear and a clean reverse. The advertising on the reverse for Sporting Life is printed boldly in blue. Graded POOR 1 by SGC largely due to a heavy crease running through Wagner's hairline and edge wear. This is a very presentable, low-grade example of this popular Wagner card.
