Lot # 4300: 1953-1954 Topps "World On Wheels" Complete Low-Number Set (160)

Presented is a complete low-number set of 160 cards from the 1953-1954 Topps "World on Wheels" series. These cards feature beautiful illustrations of many different types of automobiles, from the earliest models to the newest creations of 1954. There were an additional twenty high-number cards #161-180 released at a later time between 1954 and 1955 (which are considered rare), and that featured some of the new 1955 car models. Due to the difficulty of locating high-number examples, particularly the ones from #171-180, most collectors are content to stop at card #160 and call their set complete. Condition ranges from Vg to Vg-Ex (including 5% lesser). Total: 160 cards. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
