Graded FAIR 1.5 by SGC. Modestly graded example of this high-demand card of Cleveland Indians Hall of Famer Leroy "Satchel" Paige from the 1949 Bowman series. This rare high-number card has always been one of the key cards of both the set and the era. This well-centered example has bold colors, a crisp image, and moderate corner wear. Several wrinkles and light creases contribute to the assigned grade. One of the key classics of all postwar baseball-card issues, this is a very presentable example of one of only a handful of cards issued of Satchel Paige during his playing days.
