Graded VG/EX 4 by SGC. Mid-grade example of this classic tobacco card of Detroit Tigers Hall of Famer Ty Cobb from the T206 White Borders series. The T206 Ty Cobb bat-on-shoulder pose is one of the key cards in the legendary T206 set. The offered example displays a crisp image, bold colors, and honest corner wear. The image is centered to the extreme bottom. It is interesting to note that a very small part of the nameplate "Cobb, Detroit" is visible along the top edge. Of course, it is the very fact that this card is miscut, with a portion of the name (and team designation) of the card above visible and providing insight into how the T206 set was printed, that will make this card so fascinating to many collectors.
