1908 New York Highlanders W601 Sporting Life team composite featuring portrait images of seventeen team members, including manager Kid Elberfeld, Jack Chesbro, Willie Keeler, Red Kleinow, Hal Chase, Charlie Hemphill, Wid Conroy, Joe Lake, Rube Manning, and Joe Doyle. These Sporting Life team composites, printed on heavy enamel paper and issued by the Sporting Life newspaper, were available to fans either by individual purchase (for ten cents) or as a complete set in a bound volume. The composite (10 x 11 inches, visible dimensions) displays several small creases and is in apparent Very Good condition overall. Matted and framed to total dimensions of 15 x 15 inches.
