Lot # 3102: 1963 Bazooka Partial Set (21/36) Including Hank Aaron and Ernie Banks

Presented is a partial set of 1963 Bazooka baseball consisting of twenty-one different cards, out of 36 in the set. Missing the following fifteen cards for completion: #1 Mantle, 5 Spahn, 6 Mazeroski, 7 Killebrew, 12 Mays, 14 Clemente, 16 Yastrzemski, 19, 27, 30 B. Robinson, 31 F. Robinson, 33, 34 Kaline, 35, and 36. Includes two duplicates (#2 and 18). Condition ranges from Pr to Nr/Mt (averaging Vg-Ex/Ex). The preceding grades, as well as those in the composite below, are without respect to the neatness of the cut on the box cards as professional grading companies require that all of the borders be present in order for a card to receive a numerical grade, and many of these cards would qualify only for "Authentic" because they are cut inside of, or too close to, the borders. Keys: #3 Banks (Gd), 9 Aaron (Fr due to glue residue), 17 Drysdale (Nr/Mt), 22 Cepeda (Nr/Mt+), and 23 Musial (Pr). This is a very attractive partial set of these unusual, scarce, and underrated Bazooka Bubble Gum package-design cards. Total: 23 cards (set of 21 plus two duplicates).
