Lot # 61: Babe Ruth Cut Handwriting Signature - Beckett

Offered is a unique compilation of Babe Ruth's handwriting which has been expertly arranged to display as a cut signature of "G. H. Ruth" and "No. 3." Ideally, the largest section of this handwriting is Ruth's full last name scripted in black fountain pen. The "G," "H," and "3" have been taken from other areas of a check to create the appearance of a uniform signature accompanied by Ruth's jersey number. Beckett has encapsulated and certified the handwriting as "Authentic." The handwriting is affixed to a copy of Ruth's yellow Hall of Fame plaque postcard. Excellent condition overall.
