Presented is a collection of twenty-nine assorted Exhibits cards from two different series, spanning the years 1939 to 1966. Exhibits cards were traditionally sold for one penny each from vending machines placed at arcades and amusement parks for more than four decades (from 1921 to the 1960s). This collection consists of the following: 1) 1939-1946 W462 Salutation Exhibits (16 cards): Condition ranges from Pr to Vg-Ex (averaging Gd/Vg). Includes: Boudreau (Gd), Dickey/made in USA right (Gd), DiMaggio (Vg-Ex), Feller/pitching (Vg), Foxx (Vg-Ex), Gordon/Cleveland (Gd), Klein (Vg), McCormick/made in USA right, Medwick (Vg+), Mize/made in USA left (Fr due to light spots of paper loss on reverse), Mize/made in USA right (Pr), Ott/made in USA left (Vg-Ex+), Pafko/C on cap, Trout, Walters, and York. 2) 1947-1966 Exhibits (13 cards): Condition ranges from Pr to Vg (averaging Gd), including one higher. Includes: Brecheen, Chance, Doby (Gd+), Farrell, Goodman/leaping, Hodges/B on cap (Vg), Keltner, Musial/made in USA (partial stamp on reverse, otherwise Vg+), Pearson, Rollins, Schoendienst/fielding, brown letters (Vg-Ex+), Sisler, and Waitkus/throwing, plain uniform.
