Graded EX 5 by PSA. Extraordinary example of #30 Ty Cobb from the classic 1914 Cracker Jack series. The 1914 Cracker Jack Ty Cobb is universally recognized as one of card collecting's great classics and one of Ty Cobb's most desirable and striking cards. Cobb is featured on this card in a batting pose set against a deep red background. This is a particularly striking example, boasting an extremely bold red background, near-perfect centering, outstanding registration, and four strong corners. At first glance, the card shares many characteristics with Near Mint examples we have handled in the past. It has been graded as such due to a nearly imperceptible corner wrinkle in the top left corner, which passes through the "C" and extends to the top border. The reverse is boldly printed with a few areas of mild caramel stains. This is a very attractive example of card #30 Ty Cobb in an extremely desirable grade. The classic Cracker Jack set is considered by many to be the most beautiful card set ever issued. The E145 Ty Cobb has always been, and will always be, in high demand.
