Presented is a collection of twenty-seven (23 different) 1968 Bazooka side-panel baseball cards highlighted by Don Drysdale, Bob Gibson, and Jim Hunter. The 1968 Bazooka set is one of the scarcest and most overlooked of all 1960s Topps-related issues. The design of the set was very different from that of other Bazooka sets. Four small unnumbered vertical player cards were issued on the side panels of each box. The following grades are without reference to the neatness of the cut. Condition is 37% Ex to Ex-Mt, 30% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 33% Gd (including 15% lesser). This collection consists of the following: Agee, Alou, Boyer, Casanova, Conigliaro, Davis (Ex), Drysdale (Ex+), two Flood, Gibson (Pr), Holtzman, Hunter (Pr, back damage), two Knoop, Marichal (Gd due to paper loss), three McCarver, McGlothlin, Mincher, Monday, Pepitone, Pinson, Roseboro, Scott, Veale, and White. A very attractive mixed-grade collection of these unusual, scarce, and underrated Bazooka Bubble Gum package-design cards. Total: 27 cards.
