Description

Program issued for the Third Annual Governor's Dinner held on March 22, 1949, signed in a variety of inks along the inside cover by twenty-two individuals. Notable signatures include Branch Rickey, William Harridge, Happy Chandler, Carl Hubbell, and Dan Topping. Several signatures are accompanied by corresponding inscriptions. The program (6 x 9-1/8 inches) features a vertical fold that goes all the way through and multiple spots of paper loss on the back cover. Fair condition overall. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
