The 1962 Topps set has a well-deserved reputation for being the era's most condition-sensitive issue. The flush-to-the-border brown wood-grain design of the 1962 Topps set makes this issue particularly susceptible to edge and corner wear, and makes the assembly of high-grade sets all the more difficult. Includes one significant variation (#190) and 22 green-tint variations (#111, 112, 118, 119, 124, 130, 143, 144, 145, 146, 148, 151, 155, 158, 160, 166, 175, 181, 184, 188, 193, and 195). Condition is 36% Ex to Ex-Mt (including a few Nr/Mt), 55% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 9% lesser (including six with color added and a few miscut). Four cards have been professionally graded and encapsulated by BVG (2) and SGC (2).
