Graded NM-MT+ 8.5 by PSA. Only two examples graded higher by PSA. Exceptional high-grade example of Pittsburgh Pirates Hall of Famer Roberto Clemente from the 1961 Kahn's Wieners set. Kahn's Wieners cards are one of the few food issues of the era and are far rarer than most other baseball cards issued around the same time period. This distinctive and very scarce 1960s regional issue features players from the Reds, Pirates, and Indians. This is an extraordinary example of the key star of the set. Crisp and clean, with a flawless image and four strong corners. Clean reverse. This outstanding high-grade example would be a worthy addition to any world-class 1961 Kahn's Wieners set or Roberto Clemente collection.
