Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Exceptional high-grade example of St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Famer Stan Musial's rookie card, one of the most important cards of the era and the key card of Bowman's first baseball-card set. One of the greatest hitters who ever lived and a seven-time batting champ, Musial retired in 1963 as the National League's all-time leader in hits with 3,630 (since broken) and finished his career with a .331 lifetime average. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1969, his first year of eligibility. This example boasts outstanding image clarity and strong corners. Clean reverse with bold black text. This is a fantastic high-grade example of Hall of Famer Stan Musial's rookie card, which would be a worthy addition to any 1948 Bowman set or Hall of Fame rookie-card collection.
