Description

Collection of twenty-four different 1947 W571 "Homogenized" Bond Bread baseball cards, each signed on the front by the respective player. The signatures are scripted in a variety of inks. The black-and-white cards (2.5 x 3.5 inches) from this set were issued with rounded corners and blank backs. Nine cards range from Gd to Vg-Ex and the remaining fifteen are Pr to Fr overall. One card has been encapsulated as "Authentic" by Beckett. This collection consists of the following: Blackwell, Branca, Brecheen, Doerr (HOF), Elliott, Feller (HOF, Beckett), Furillo, S. Gordon, Hatten, Jansen, Joost, Keller, Kerr, Kiner (HOF), Lockman, Marshall, Mize (HOF), Pafko, Pesky, Sain, Slaughter (HOF), Stephens, Tebbetts, and Thomson. Total: 24 signed cards.
