Description

Personal check, dated January 10, 1962, signed by Jewish baseball star Harry Feldman in blue ink. Feldman passed away just a few months after signing this check on March 16 at the age of 42. The check, drawn on "The First National Bank of Fort Smith, Arkansas," is made out to "S & Q Clothiers" for $26.16. The check (6 x 2.5 inches) displays normal bank cancellation stamps and a few creases. Excellent condition overall. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
