Description

Incredible complete 54-card set of 1973 Kellogg's baseball cards. Throughout the 1970s and early 1980s, the Kellogg's cereal company was the only true competition for Topps in the baseball-card market. The 1973 issue, offered here, is the only two-dimensional set produced by Kellogg's, which is well known for its three-dimensional designs. These sets have always been of great interest to collectors as they offer affordable alternatives to standard-issue Topps cards of the many Hall of Famers and stars included in each set. An impressive twenty Hall of Famers are featured throughout this set, including Nolan Ryan, Johnny Bench, Al Kaline, and Tom Seaver, as well as the many other stars of the day, including Pete Rose. Condition is 89% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt, 7% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 4% Vg to Vg-Ex. This is an outstanding set, assembled with a strict focus on ultra high-grade, which would make a worthy addition to any collection. Total: 54 cards. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
