Presented are three complete 726-card sets of 1979 Topps baseball and one near-complete set (717/726), missing only #24 Molitor, 30, 95, 330 Brett, 348, 358, 477, 601, and 640 Murray for completion. The 1979 Topps set is highlighted by Ozzie Smith's rookie card as well as numerous other Hall of Famers and stars of the era, including Nolan Ryan, Pete Rose, and Eddie Murray. The overall condition of the sets is 43% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt (approximately two-thirds Nr/Mt), 42% Ex to Ex-Mt (including some due solely to centering), and 15% Vg to Vg-Ex (including some due to miscut centering and a few lesser). Keys: Four #115 Ryan (three Nr/Mt-Mt and Ex-Mt), four 116 Smith RC (Nr/Mt, two Ex+, and Ex due to centering), three 330 Brett (two Nr/Mt and Ex), three 640 Murray (Nr/Mt, Ex and Vg+), and four 650 Rose (two Ex-Mt, Ex, and Vg+).
