Lot # 2802: 1927 British American Tobacco "Who's Who In Sport" #2 Bobby Jones PSA NM-MT 8

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Only two examples graded higher by PSA. Extraordinary high-grade example of Hall of Famer Bobby Jones from the British American Tobacco "Who's Who In Sport" series, issued in 1927. It is interesting to note that the image of Jones used on this card is the same image used on Jones' rookie card from the 1926 Lambert & Butler series. In fact, the entire set is identical (front and back) to the 1926 Lambert & Butler series, with the only difference being there is no company advertisement for Lambert & Butler on the bottom of the reverse. Bright, crisp, and clean, both front and back, with strong corners, and outstanding contrast.
