Collection of eighteen 1938 PM8 Our National Game Pins, highlighted by Hall of Famers Jimmy Foxx, Joe Medwick, and Bill Terry. This series was issued in 1938 and is referred to as "Our National Game," based on the name printed along the top of the original cardboard backings on which they were sold. Each pin, which measures 7/8 inches in diameter and features a player portrait, has a bendable "tab" rather than a pin back. Printed in blue and white with the respective player's name and team below his image. Condition ranges from Pr-Fr to Vg-Ex (averaging Gd+). This collection consists of the following: Crosetti, Demaree, Foxx (HOF, Pr-Fr), Hadley, Lewis, Medwick (HOF, Pr-Fr), Ripple, Ruffing (HOF, Fr), six Schumacher, two Selkirk, Terry (HOF, Vg+), and Trosky. Total: 18 cards.
