Addendum: Please note that the title in the printed catalog is incorrect. This is a signed program cover, not an award presented to Bill Walton as incorrectly described.
Program cover issued for the 1972 Atlanta Tip Off Club Awards Banquet, signed in black marker by Bill Walton, John Wooden, and Jimmy Carter (39th president of the United States). The Atlanta Tip Off Club administers the family of Naismith Awards, including College Player and Coach of the Year honors, overseeing their selection and presentation each season. Walton was named College Player of the Year for the 1971-1972 season. The program cover (8.25 x 10.75 inches) is laminated onto a wooden plaque (10.5 x 13 inches) and presents in Excellent condition overall. Full LOA from James Spence/JSA. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
