Impressive 200-card complete set of one of the 1960s' great classics: 1963 Post Cereal. Includes both variations of #131 F. Robinson. The grades in the following condition composite are without respect to the neatness of the cut, as many of the cards are cut inside one or more borders and would qualify only for "Authentic" if submitted for professional grading. Condition is 15% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt (mostly Nr/Mt), 35% Ex to Ex-Mt, 40% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 10% lesser. Twenty-one cards have been professionally graded and encapsulated by PSA. Keys: #15 Mantle (EX-MT 6), 16 Maris (GOOD 2), 30 Thomas (Ex-Mt+), 39 Floyd Robinson (Vg), 51 Kaline (Ex), 53 Bunning (Gd), 59 B. Robinson (EX-MT 6), 61 Adair (EX-MT 6), 80 Yastrzemski (EX-MT 6 [MK]), 86 Lumpe (Ex), 87 Jimenez (EX-MT 6), 106 Mays (NM 7), 108 Haller (Ex-Mt), 119 Davis (EX-MT 6), 121 Koufax (Vg), 128 Kasko (EX-MT 6), 131a Frank Robinson/no stripes on cap (Vg+), 131b Frank Robinson/stripes on cap (pencil on reverse, otherwise Vg-Ex+), 143 Clemente (Vg-Ex), 152 Aaron (Vg-Ex), 162 Flood (Pr due to back damage), 166 Gibson (Ex+), 169 Banks (pen writing on reverse, otherwise Nr/Mt), 172 B. Williams (NM-MT 8), 187 Aspromonte (NM-MT 8), and 196 Thomas (NM 7). Nine additional PSA-graded cards: #14 (EX 5), 21 (EX 5), 78 (EX 5), 103 (NM 7), 135 (NM-MT 8), 165 (NM 7), 191 (NM 7), 199 (EX 5), and 200 (NM 7). A very attractive and mostly mid- to high-grade complete set of this scarce and extremely underrated early 1960s food issue. Total: 201 cards (set of 200 plus one variation). The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
