Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA (submitted by REA). This is the ONLY example graded at this level with just one higher. Superb high-grade example of Hall of Famer Christy Mathewson (dark cap) from the classic T206 series with a very desirable American Beauty 350 advertising reverse. American Beauty is an uncommon back, certainly not in the same league as Drum or Uzit but very unusual and seen far less often than most other T206 advertising backs. The T206 Christy Mathewson dark cap pose is one of the most recognizable cards in all of card collecting. The offered example is stunning, with extremely vibrant colors, a crisp image, and just a hint of light wear to the four corners. Entirely clean both front and back. This is an extremely attractive and very rare scarce-back example of this classic Christy Mathewson tobacco card.
