Description

Original 1970 Topps uncut final-production sheet consisting of 132 cards with fully printed reverses. All cards on this sheet are from the fourth series (#373-459). Arranged in twelve rows of eleven cards each, the sheet features forty-four different triple-printed cards, highlighted by Pete Rose AS (three cards) and Hall of Famers Reggie Jackson AS (three cards), Tony Perez (three cards), Ron Santo AS (three cards), and Willie McCovey AS (three cards). Grading of sheets has always posed a problem as we naturally tend to grade a sheet as if it were a "big card" when really a grade does not capture the condition or visual appeal of a sheet (all the more so as sheets tend to be large). That is certainly the case here. Technically, the sheet is in Fair to Good condition due moderate creasing and moisture staining along the bottom. The sheet measures 28.25 x 43 inches. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
