Graded G-VG 2.5 by GAI. Exceptionally attractive, bright, and clean example of what many consider to be the most classic of all Joe Jackson cards and one of the icons of all vintage baseball cards. This is a tremendous medium-grade card that clearly has a much stronger eye appeal than suggested by its assigned grade. Beautiful bold colors, crisp, perfectly focused image, and even wear on the corners. The card has two light creases (lower-left quadrant and top center; mostly visible from the back) and slight rippling throughout. "Shoeless Joe" is one of the big three key cards in the set, along with Ty Cobb and Honus Wagner. This card certainly has a superb overall appearance and would be a welcome addition to virtually any collection of Cracker Jack, Joe Jackson, or “Black Sox” cards. This is an extremely desirable grade for this classic card, providing a relatively affordable alternative to a far more expensive super high-grade example without compromising on all of the most important qualities of the card.
