Graded NM 7 by PSA. Only two examples are graded higher by PSA. Outstanding high-grade example of Philadelphia Athletics Hall of Famer Eddie Plank from the M116 Sporting Life set, one of the most popular of all 1910-era issues. This rare card is popular on many counts, including the fact that the portrait is so similar in appearance to the famous T206 Plank and dates from the same era. This is a gorgeous card. Bright and extremely clean both front and back, with four strong corners, and impressive centering. The Sporting Life advertisement on the reverse is boldly printed. This is a very attractive high-grade example of one of Eddie Plank's most classic cards.
