Description

One of the legendary rarities of candy cards, from the E90-1 American Caramel series, Mitchell, Cincinnati, has been referred to by collectors as the "Honus Wagner of E cards." This card displays bright colors and a strong image. Graded POOR 10 by SGC. Flaws include rounded corners, moderate creasing, and scattered paper loss on the reverse. This is a very appealing, modestly graded example of this legendary key rarity from the most popular caramel-card set of the era. Today collectors recognize many cards as being of various degrees of rarity in the E90-1 set, but Mitchell, Cincinnati (along with the Joe Jackson rookie card, also from the same set), remains the most famous key rarity of the classic E90-1 American Caramel set.
